Strange one.

#1 Post by blinkey501 » Wed Aug 14, 2013 5:23 am

I bought these off Ebay.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271256956482? ... 1423.l2649
Those who have sold me items before know I don't do paypal.
Because it says bank transfer I marked the payment as a transfer would be completed.
I emailed the guy and told him to send me the details and I would pay Saturday as I was going into town.
I don't do online banking.
The email back I got was that if I didn't pay within 48 hours ebay would pursue me for none payment. And he gave me his phone number.
I rang but got no reply.
He rang me back and I explained I don't do paypal but as the add said I could do a transfer payment would not be a problem as I wanted the goods.
He suggested I pay out of ebay?
I told him I didn't want to as I loose control and traceability of the transaction.
He told me that because he had none payers in the past ebay had stopped this payment method.
I said will why is this method still on there and if i did'nt pay report me.
I also told him I have 100% feed back with 114 items bought and no negatives so obviously i am a serious ebayer.
He will today remove them as sold and re list them and text me the reference number. My Brother is going to buy them for me and pay for them so I can pay him next time I see him.
Does this seem strange to anybody? :smt017
I am now going to email him again and say that if he gives me the bank details I will pay tomorrow after work and thus give him the choice.
Tolerance will be our undoing.

Sounds like a lazy ebayer who only wants a nice easy paypal life.

What's more strange is what are you doing on here at 5am on a Wednesday morning, get down the garage and get tinkering
Pass me a hammer, a spanner and a cuppa

It's really a case that emphasises that if you ebay you need to paypal.

If you're selling, paypal charges are a rip-off but tbh I've found it very convenient.
