Yeah they all come with a steep price tag. Was looking for alternatives and also something a little different.

i would imagine most 3.5x17 fronts and 6.00x17.00 rears will fit, its the spacers, and getting them spaced correctly that will be the issue.... oh and spindle size, don't know if these are standard sizes across the board?

Let us know if you find out - you'll probably be the first to try.

tyre bloke always says to me that its criminal to mess with these wheels as they are the best coated and toughest hes ever seen not thaqt I would you understand

For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

The falco is a keeper then?

Tolerance will be our undoing.

There's not a lot to gain by changing. And I can make the Falco into the bike I want.

They need 2.5mm machining off either side of the front discs mount and a set of discs.

Do gen 2 wheels just need the front machining? The rears slot in no bother?

Yes
There is an alternative to machining the wheels ..... fit the radial-braked front end .......
