Fairly sure it is shower proof..

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

What Aldi gear in particular?

Their 2 piece oversuit that I had for years was completely waterproof .... until recently.

Their boots held out for a long time in downpours (probably less now my gear lever has warn a hole though the top layer.

Gloves ..... well not entirely waterproof.

As for the full textile stuff, I bet that's pretty good - at least for a few years

does it say any kind of tex ... like simpatex alditex? if it does then it is at least showerproof and possibly more but definitley less than 36 hours
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock
