ABBA Stand

#1 Post by Tonyunn » Tue Jul 23, 2013 9:24 am

Just had to compliment the company, ordered a stand off E-Bay as I lost one at the weekend to a lurker, I bit the bullet and got a new one for £106 all in.
It took less than 24 hours for them to get it to me, truly amazing service.

I had a bid on a stand for about £55 and with minutes to go someone upped the bid I managed to get it and then lost it with seconds to go, they had not bid at all until the last two minutes.

I know that is what E-bay is for but I was disappointed.

But as it turns out they did me a favour as have a new one with the right bits and pieces.

err - that's how you do ebay - snipe at the last second.

What pushes the prices up are people bidding early (though that's great if you are selling)

Could have had a brand new replica one from me for £75. Should have checked in the 'for sale' section on here first :smt002

I too bit the bullet a couple of weeks ago after literally years of procrastination and losing several to Ebay snipers.

Paid full whack from Mr Abba.

Went to Rufforth autojumble today and someones flogging one for £35!

I nearly bought it just to stick on Ebay.

Also, despite having used the forum for several years I had never been on the classified ads part - always just check the Aprilia parts for sale, otherwise I may have stumped for the Abba tribute stand. (fantastic play on words by the way)
