They've replaced the Roads with Rails

#1 Post by D-Rider » Fri May 04, 2007 2:23 pm

At long last I've got round to sticking my Ohlins back in. Was a bit of an effort in the dark last night - took much longer than last time (probably because I couldn't see what I was doing and maybe as the decision to get on and do it followed the odd drink ... not that I was in the sort of state where I couldn't do the job properly I hasten to add).
Finished that and a few other jobs on the bike at about 2:30am

Anyway, today it's a revelation - I'd forgotten just how much better the Ohlins really is.
I've cranked the ride height right up as well and I think turn-in is a bit better. Maybe try dropping the yokes a bit in the near future.

I'm off to Reading for the weekend (help my dad put up a shed) and planning to take the bike ..... although where on earth has the sun gone?? Have to look at the forecast for coming back on Sunday - I'd prefer to avoid yet another soaking - so maybe the car will win ..........
