Abba-esque, the tribute stand

#1 Post by Nooj » Wed Jul 17, 2013 5:35 pm

Nine for sale, £75 inc. postage, £65 if you collect in person. You will need the appropriate nubbins for your bike's swingarm pivot, which you can get from Demon Tweeks (the Abba ones fit these stands).

must admit these kinds of stands are rock solid compared to paddock stands etc
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Crikey - is that a direct knock-off (other than the colour)?

Don't actually need one myself as I have the even more robust MWR Ulti-pro (no longer produced though)

Don't know if it's exactly the same, a friend of an associate made them. I think she said there were a few differences. They work just as well though. My old Abba stand finally got too bent (yes, really!) to trust, so I'm using one of these now.

Bit of a bugger on the odd collection of uneven slabs that I have but still much easier than wrestling with a paddock stand.

and even I can use one and it stays rock solid... Okay martdude showed me the first time but then I'm sure he broke squid in so the shame element was already passed :smt003

A doddle to use, and far more stable than a paddock stand :smt001

I'll be up at the Aprilia Performance open day on 1st Sept (Tamworth, Staffs).
I can bring one of these up if you want one, collect it there and save on postage.
