Seems to be very cheap. I'd want to know why.
Haven't ever ridden a TL but they seem to be half decent.
Still, I would rather a falco.

I'll be keeping the falco... I agree it's cheap, but sometimes people just want things sold,
Keep asking myself if i can justify another bike, considering i've got the kr1s in bits and the fzr still waiting to be restored

If its been stood for 5 years you may be looking at a carb strip and clean, plus perishable bits like fork seals and tyres may have gone.

I was looking at the R version some time ago. Still love the look now.
I did read up about these and their reputation, it seemed that the original rear shock was the route of the tank slappers. But a Maxton... Well there is a couple of hundred quid there.
And the problems resolved.
Can you go and view rob and see what you are getting for your money?
Tolerance will be our undoing.

Actually, look ate the front fork rake as well....
Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Please please please be aware that they earned the nick name WIDOW MAKER for very good reasons.
The suspension set up is not easy to live with, many have learned to thier ultimate cost.
I cannot stress enough that TL handling is 'wild horse' and is not easily tamed.
My total nutter fearless mate bought one, said it tried to kill him

Equally a lot of people have had no trouble at all.

Didn't Suzuki initially deny any problems, then after a few people got killed recall them and fit a steering damper?

Friend of mine had one for years, said he didn't know what the fuss was supposed to be about. He thought that possibly people were riding bike that were to much for them.

Always fancied one of these. Ever since my mate let me have a go on his when I was 18. Phwoar! What a machine! In the right colour too. If I wasn't up against it to get the Triumph finished, I'd have that.

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.
