Falco stuff to swap

#1 Post by Pierre » Wed May 02, 2007 12:16 pm

Italian seat (white middle, red side, green t'other side)
standard front brake lines (maybe yours are erm, broken or something)
complete airbox (modify youre own and have this just incase things go pear shaped)
set hump locking thing ( not the lock, just the wire and both mechanisms either end)
sprocket cover ( i prefer the draught of something whirring 20000rpm next to my toes)
ram air tube things ( ideal to protect small bent trees from garden damage)
back light lens (rare red one)
genuine tail tidy with a pair of falco indicators ready fitted ( paints flaking off to save even more weight)
grab handle ( fat lass broke yours? )
petrol cap and surround with 1 key
performance air filter (possibly. never seen a standard one so I dunno. Looks like my k&n though.)
falco linkage and dogbone (choice of 2. bearings f***ed in 1, dunno which one though, lucky dip )
falco shock (worth its weight in shit)
rear footrests and hangers
falco swingarm ( another rare item)
headlight (slight scratch on corner, hardly noticable)
clutch side mirror ( rare sidestand side!)
standard screen (light scratching due to meteorstorm on re-entry)

No prices cos i dont want money. I want :

steering damper
rearsets
clutch levers
brake levers
left radiator
exhaust hangers without footrests
rear brake thing that the rod goes into that i cant remember the name of. tube shaped.

I have cash waiting for the above if theres nothing in the list you want.
Cheers
Pierre.

mmmm ..... I don't have the things you want and I don't want the things you're trying to offload ...... but on the off chance that you've got one in your extensive motorcycle fettling emporium, I don't suppose you have a Mille bellypan v-piece. Old and knackered is fine. I've already got the right and left hand bellypan panels and am planning to try my hand at glassfibre bodging. This is my latest plan to overcome the single-pipe conversion problems. If I can make up a new bellypan based on the Mille version, I can ditch the Skidmarx pan and fit the exhaust and Mille oil tank without too much problem.
Thing is, I need the v-piece to complete the Mille pan - which I can then modify to fit the Falco ..... and eventually make a mould.

.... so simple on paper .....

My bet is he means part 14 ..... but is confusing the brake hose with a rod .... though maybe he does mean 'rod' if he's gone for a rear drum brake conversion to get over the problems in bleeding the rear hydraulics!

No.7 obviously. How could you not tell from the description ? :smt003

I've borrowed one off the rs250 that also went to teeside autodrome and seized up so no panic, but i'll still keep an eye out.

STEERING DAMPER is top of my list. I only have so many pairs of underwear to go through.

d-rider : I dont have one, but i'm at an autojumble where i got mine on saturday so i'll keep an eye out. Did you see this ?

Damn - I was suckered there by Dale into choosing something from his picture rather than considering the wider options.
I put this down to dirty scheming by you Scots - throwing me off the scent so that Nigel could win.

Time for THAT picture again Nigel - just as revenge you understand

Image

.... it even shows Dale your co-conspirator bending over his Falco. Maybe I'll convert it into a "Wanted" poster.

Ahhh... The master cylinder. Once you look at the image and Pierre's description, they make perfect sense.

Hmmmm

A sentence with "Pierre" and "perfect sense" in it, now there's a turn up!
