Yes very interesting.
A few years ago I was talking with a Spanish helmet manufacturer who had HUD technology that they were integrating - I had hoped to combine with some of our navigation and infotainment technology but it's hard to get our company moving sometimes ....
A couple of observations - well the first is the price - well heeled BMW, Ducati, MV and Harley riders only!
The second is the positioning of the image on the visor .... right in the rider's eye line. That's really going to be a right PITA in looking out for road surface issues - I've had the same issues when testing car HUDs - far better off of your main eye line.
That said it's a good bit of technology. It could do with integrated solar panels to help the power last even longer and an integrated rear camera to include Revue functionality (at a far more expensive price - but with much more functionality).
