i think he found a cave in the local slag heap - that is a yorkshire garage right?

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Telewest, (now trading as Virgin Media), were one of the first companies in the UK to introduce fibre optic Broadband many years ago.
I know, I helped to introduce it by working very closely with them to create the new infrastructure/network.
At that time the Norfolk swamp dwellers were probably still carrying parchment messages over the swamps to the next village in sealskin coracles.

No Howard

The Norfolk managers were using their iMacs to coordinate coracle deliveries to the sheep lovers

Not in the 1990s they weren't, they were more likely to be just using the sheep.

Strange world Dave, as at that time I was spending a fortune on networking kit with KC.

That's good news Giles. Hope you get settled soon.
How come you've got the amazing b'band then? I thougth we were all subject to the crazy monopoly that KC has around here.

Not got much time now until August but we must get together for a ride.
