Back protectors

#1 Post by Gio » Tue May 01, 2007 4:48 pm

I've been looking at getting one and having tried quite a few but not this one (Forcefield Pro L2) as I haven't found a stockist yet (so that I can try it).

Has anyone got one or had one

Pro's and con's?

Its a Ride magazine 'best buy'

Cheers for any help :smt001

Pros - hurts less when you crash and bounce down the road

Cons - none AFAIK

+1 for the Knox - haven't crash tested it (yet!), but it's comfortable enough and seems sturdy.

The trouble with the Knox ones for me is they aren't long enough if I take the width into consideration, if I get their longest it doesn't fit very well (seems to be designed for fatter people).

I think I'll order the Forcefield Pro as they've said they'll exchange it if it doesn't fit. :smt003

What are you trying to say! I'm not fat, I'm just big-boned.

They are designed for normal people - not you.

Have you tried the Knox race version - extends down to cover the tailbone so longer than the standard one?

About 10 miles, I've ordered the other back protector, but will keep them in mind if it doesn't fit :smt001
