bellypan brackets help

#1 Post by sherlock308 » Thu Jun 06, 2013 10:07 pm

Chaps

I have just got an immaculate bellypan from a falco unfortunately there's only one bracket which is on the brake side.

The one for the clutch side is missing.

Does anyone have a spare ?

Or anyone a photo of the clutch side one to fabricate one.

Thanks

Sherlock

(Its coming together now stand, blue flame exhausts, double lion head belly pan, hugger, and a carbon dash surround! More to follow)
No shit Sherlock !

I lost my brackets before I fitted my bellypan (of course they turned up later........)
Skidmarx charged me about £15 for a new set ........ don't think they're likely to start giving bellypans away .........

Chaps

Its an ebay item for an rs 250 and falco about £20.00 covers round the dash and a bit round the reset buttons.

Not fitted it yet it needs a bit of fettling (just bought some small diamond files from Lidl been having a play ) tidying up the edges a bit sharp where it has been cut out !
also not keen on the double sided tape used to attach it so may look to bond it on maybe with black mastic.

Its a work in progress.

Having said that its a nice piece of carbon fibre which will look good when its done.

Ive just got some new billett clutch and brake res covers from ebay.com Protek they were for a best offer look good in satin black !

I think they were $18 each I offered $15 and $12 there was no argument so you may get them cheaper.
Good luck
