Yep, we don't even have to walk to the pub, we're camping right outside it!
It's £15 a night including electric (I should check whether it's cheaper without as we don't need it!) and that gives you a discount on meals in the pub.

Need to book up fairly rapidly on the above phone number rather than email, saying that you are with the RiderSite group. They want a 50% deposit which they can take on the phone.

By the way, if anyone wants to wangle an extra day off, there's a bike night there on Thursdays - I haven't been to it yet so have no idea what it's like.

The pub does have rooms which are available Friday night but unfortunately fully booked Saturday night. I'll investigate B&Bs if anyone wants me to.

I haven't done this before so feel free to let me know what I haven't told you, or what I need to organise - I'm sure you will !

The tragedy of old age is not that one is old, but that one is young.

Why are place-names in that part of the world so much more mellifluous than elsewhere?

With the 1000 bikes festival a few weeks earlier I won't be able to attend. Sally would not be too impressed with marts meet just passed and me planning mine also.
Although I don't blame her.
I hope you all have a bloomin marvellous time.
Tbh I think this will be my last 1000 bikes as I am not sure where it will be next year, so I may attend your next year :smt023

Only 150 miles from me, surprising. I'll get booked.

Mine depends entirely on the emergence and progress of the bump ;) so doubtful but .... :smt008
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

I'm really sorry Bobby, I am on duty all weekend at the Royal Internation Air Tattoo at Fairford. If I could get off it, I would and am truelly gutted that I will be missing this as I also told friends close by that I would visit them when I came down. :smt009
I hope the weather gods are kind and you have an awesome turn out x

Looks like we may be a bit thin on the gropund - anyone think it would be better to postpone it till later in the year?

Don't be hasty Bobbi.
There is my meet to get out of the way first and I don't have many booked in as yet.
I might have an influx of people last minute, maybe not. Just wait and see. :smt002
