I am looking at purchasing a Forza Aprilia Eprom and air kit, my question is regarding the air kit and how noisy it is.
I use the Falco everyday for commuting as well as pleasure. Some trips are long(150+ miles) so I don't want the noise to become a pain. Mind you saying that I have Fuel cans on with the baffles removed
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I love it and I have the renegade one in fact I have two one being spare
I find the noise addictive and oh yes it can be loud but in a good way herartily recommended lovely burbling noise pucca pucca crob crob :) at low speeds and full throated unleash the beast at higher speeds I consider it a safety feature

For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Ed(Forza Aprilia) says he will have more air kits next week, so I have bought one in anticipation

What sort of kit does he supply?

Indeed EVO style.
The Falco genuinely excites me, the bike has an amazing character and I love riding it, it's easy to make smooth, rapid progress. Can't wait to fit these bits.

To be honest the best gain is the grin factor and the noise ... Fast is still fast ... Slow is still slow .... but a beautiful beefy ... Not you squid!

... Beautiful beefy noise and the urge to shout
lets get ready to ruuuuuuuummmmmmmbbbbbbbllleee as you pull off now that's priceless lol

You won't get much noise from a evo style kit as it is sealed by the tank. The rene kit will give you a nice induction roar but mostly when you accelerate. Under normal riding you will hear the cans over the airkit........until you accelerate as said......then it gets loud (and nice)

Yes what Paddy says is spot on. I
(at long last) fitted my rene airkit last weekend and experiences of one week confirm his description.
What I have really noticed is it has further improved the controllability of the low revs roll-ons - say when you are coming out of a roundabout
(I've basically used it only for commuting this past week so that's the sorts of roads I've experienced)
Personally I don't give a stuff about top-end (where it's pretty good too) but overall ride-ability is what I always aim to improve and I'd rate this as a worthwhile improvement.

Absolutely, not after top end power, just good low down and mid range. Proper world usage, not for a race track.
