#1 Post by tommy » Mon May 20, 2013 5:00 pm

Bugger
I don't suppose anybody has a clean left hand Falco caliper I can buy off them?
I've just stripped the threads (bango) in mine fitting my new brake lines
Cheers! Tom

...... I will check the stores

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

In case the stores are empty, would a heli coil fix it. If heli coils can't be used on brake parts I apologise as I haven't a clue what they can and can't be used on. :smt001

Ive been looking around one the net, and it appears you can. I might go down this road as im poor. Does involve splitting the caliper though

Well I have a pair of front calipers and they are in fair though grubby condition

If you fancy a trip to Hempnall Norfolk you can have the pair for £80

no worries

I suspect that now the hobbit has been alerted to some more falco bling for his rsv that he will be sniffing around shortly

For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Time-sert (I think) is better. Not sure if it's cheaper though. That's what I had done with my Falco oil tank and it worked a treat.
