John likes shaving with hawthorn branches; and washing himself in the sheep's trough.

I'll be popping along for a couple of hours on Friday evening to say howdy, bu retreating home as I only live 15 miles away and have a nice comfy bed :D.

Are you planning on riding somewhere on Saturday? I propose we consider skeggy via willingham woods.

Camp site to willingham (27 miles):
https://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msid=21 ... 7,0.187025

willingham to skeggy(40 miles):
https://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msid=21 ... 437,0.7481

All depends on how far people want to go (130, mile round trip - can cut out a fair bit on the return journey if people don't want to do too much twisty on the way home) and whether people want to end up in skeggy...

Just a suggestion ;)

Dale

It all depends on the weather. It all depends what everyone else wants to do Dale. Willingham woods would be a definite though :smt003 .
I have ask HowardQ to pop along and hopefully he will be available to lead the ride out.

Yup, I can't be there the whole weekend, because of family celebrations, (close family Golden Wedding!), but certainly will be there for Saturday.
Any ideas about a start time for the run?
It won't take more than about an hour to get to Willingham from there, even if we take the longer route via Caistor. We could take another run out from there. I know Graham has some ideas, probably around Horncastle area, I think, then maybe back to Willingham for another cuppa and back to camp.
Could visit Cleethorpes on the way back, (fish and chips and a donkey ride, or a pint and a paddle?), as it's quite close and doesn't take long from there.
Anybody got any other ideas?
HowardQ
