Wipers for helmets

Hmmm.

The idea is there but I wouldn't want to trust suction pads against the wind.

Also looks a bit silly. It needs to be smaller.

Also it would be a pain having to take it on and off all the time.

Definitely needs some refinement.

plus ... and ignoring the practical applications for a moment .... you'd look like an absolute nob :smt003
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Hmmm

Likely to be noisy with wind speed, contact of the wiper will probably vary with different visor shapes (so might not be that effective), and given proximity it's going to block a fair portion of your field of vision when it runs across.

I keep meaning to look into RainX, see whether that's ok for visors. Anyone know if its safe for use?

bet your visor would soon be scratched ......

A better idea would be a sort of air-blade device that keeps blowing it dry. Could be made much more discreet.

That's alright then. :smt047

Not April the 1st again ?
I have some winter gloves with a short visor wiper blade type thing, bonded onto the finger next to the thumb on the left hand.
needs no additional wiring or batteries, no on/off switch, works every time, no $92 price

Bonkers. Absolutely bonkers - doubt it would ever work properly. Adds weight to the top of the helmet and the part most prone to buffeting. Plus it looks like a baby Komodo dragon is crawling across your helmet.

It will shortly be consigned to the dustbin of history, if there's any common sense left in the world.

It needs to be one of these. Kart racers have used them for years.

I've often wondered that. I've seen posts on forums where people claim to have used it without problems.

I used it on the screen of my GL650. And the rain did sheet straight off leaving the screen perfectly clear. Trouble was it sheeted off straight into my face...

Well I've learnt something new today. :smt001
It was a bike racer that told me about them years ago but not in relation to bikes, if you see what I mean.
