need pistons that are no longer made

some of you made have read that i have collected my old kawasaki Z440 (the roadster not the custom) from my mums garage, i got the bike home on sunday and thankfully after 13 years of being in bits its still all there and in pretty good condition.

so far the biggest problem i think i am going to have is getting new pistons and rings, the reason i stripped the bike down in the first place was because the rings had gone, at the time i could still get the pistons from a main dealer.

the pistons are no longer made now i have searched the web and cant find any one who has them in stock, so here is my question does any one know of a company who can make pistons for a reasonable price? and if its near portsmouth even better.

the problem i have is that if i cant sort the pistons then the whole rebuild will be a non starter.

or if any one has any other ideas as to how i can get round this im all ears

I must confess, I have not read any of the links, I know a man that smokes roll ups that machines pistons from relative size blanks.
Today, I do not have to read the links because its my birthday and Im bladdered, all other days Im just stoopid.
Anyway, if this guy cant find pistons to match, he will find the closest possible fit then machine barrels to pistons, proper old skool !
