Yeah - we discussed this only about 10 days ago. That thread might be useful to you:

Yeah I spotted that using the Search (after I posted: Doh!).
I was hoping someone would be able to confirm I didn't need to spend £80ish on a genuine Prilla part, though I might be able to get one cheaper from Aprilia Yorkshire (just not sure on delivery times)
Two is the magic number... ;)

The last one I bought was from speedaway - it was expensive but nothing like that much.
Ring around a few Aprilia dealers and see who comes up best (including delivery). Before you buy, check they actually have one in stock!

Funny thing is I had the crankshaft speed sensor play up on my Vw sharan 1.8T petrol 20v , and bought a new one from German Swedish French car parts £23.00 and it was exactly the same apart from the 3 pin conector was different

............try Teesdale Motorcycles at Thirsk - main dealer for Prilla and Guzzi and sourced and supplied my oil pressure sensor last year, very quickly and cheaply.

Worth a phone call.

Cheers for that mate. I'll give em a ring at the weekend when I'm off work.
Aprilia Yorkshire are more expensive and don't have one in stock so its either Teasdale or Ebay...

Funny, mine went last week after a good wash! Needed one asap for a European trip so searched for RSV breaking on eBay, found one up the road and blagged it for 30 notes. Should be a few breaking Milles on the bay.
