Has anyone tried octane booster to help with the least quality unleaded fuel and ethanol problems causing the expanding tanks.

use BP Ultimate fuel

The hobbit did some research and found this out -
Thank you for your email concerning the fuel sold by BP.

In most regions of the UK our Ultimate Unleaded dos not contain any Ethanol at present (South West UK excluded). This may of course change in the future as the specification allows up to 5%.

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Cheers. ... just read a piece in an article about ethanol which states that 10% is going to be allowed in 2013 with the potential to Rise to 15% so the problems are going to get worse :smt011 :smt013

Can't see how an octane booster is going to stop the ethanol monster from carrying out it's evil mission
