rear sprocket carrier gasket

i bought this gasket 38 x52 x 7 item 21 in the pic , it dosent fit ,
i measured about 56mm so should be 38 x 56 x 7 , anyone know the correct size

i checked all gasket sizes on aprilia yorkshire, rsvt, rsvrm faloco etc and were all 38x52x7.
fits some bikes somwhere but none of the above

can i ask where you got this size mcbones :smt002

Aprilia's own parts manual lists it as 38 x52 x 7 - but that might have just been a typo that has been carried over and now corrected in later literature ............ so, TBH it's not very clear.

just checked my front sprocket , its a 17 tooth , will it fit , im getting frustrated now with this ,
acording to kens site its tight ,

The seal on the sprocket carrier is 55mm outside diameter.

I was just getting all this stuff sorted out to put new bearings in one and the guy at SKF gave me the 52mm one I asked for and it didn't fit, quick measure with the callipers and sure enough the Aprilia book has a misprint.

The bearing size further down the list confirms this at 55 OD

I don't think you would want a 17T at the front.
It'll be like a bone shaker and acceleration will be v poor

Look at Wemoto for sprockets, big choice of plus or minus sizes on both front and rear sprockets
