New Caponord

#1 Post by D-Rider » Fri Mar 08, 2013 2:00 pm

Here's a pic of the new Capo ..... wonder how many/few boxes it will tick for the FutFut riders too (certainly seems to have the pipe & slippers carrying systems on board)

That picture makes it lool really big and oversized... Probably isn't though.

That must be the big red thing that nearly hit me as I was climbing up the ugly tree the other day. It was close, I nearly fell out.

Seat is 20 mm higher than Fut & original Capo - could be a problem for some.

IMHO, another soft-road GS/Multistrada wannabee; ok for those who like a bike that look like a mechanical camel.

I'll be sticking with the Futura, until I can afford this - Bimota DB12 Tourist - only need £20,000

Much prefer the Bim,but I must admit that the right hand ugly oversize pannier on the Capo would make the perfect slippers pre heater.
The centre stand is also perfect for tapping one's pipe bowl on.
The left pannier leaves plenty of room for one's pipe rack, pipe cleaners, tartan rug, travel sweets and flask of horlicks and scottie dog

Remove the insanely oversized exhaust and the red megaphone pannier and it would probably look OK. Can't get excited, mind...

The centre stand is far too low down for tapping one's pipe bowl on.

I can see that you and I are going to have to have a serious talk about the bike /pipe interface, sunshine :smt002

Depends who you are really.

If you're the type of chap that modifies his bike in order to be able to light his pipe from his combustible airbox, you may find the centre stand is appropriately placed for bowl tapping duties .........

Have bimota gone completely insane?

The DB11 - 1198 engine with a supercharger for 'good measure'. 188bhp at the rear wheel!

I thought that the elephants ear trumpet masquerading as an exhaust was in fact a cunningly disguised fold up chair ( pre warmed for easing piles ) with pipe and g and t pocket and built in slipper rack

Then I realised that these bikes could be retro fitted with a slippier crutch or maybe I misheard :smt017
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Lighters were on the top shelf

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
