Hi all,
Following the exchange of huggers with Firestarter, we talked about a meet up and ride out .

The plan is to meet at D&K motorcycles at Newcastle under Lyme around 10.00am, then ride on to the Ponderosa near the Horseshoe Pass.

The date is the 20th May.

For those who don't know D&K is on the A34 just outside Newcastle centre heading north.

Hope to see u there.

I'll see you up at the Ponda if I'm allowed too :smt014
The following week I'm driving to Germany, then working when I get back, then it's HER Birthday and I'm taking the Falco down to the Pyrenees the following day for 9 days :smt016
I think some serious crawling is needed :smt002

Yup, checked my calendar so I'll be along. We just need to agree on a route, and confirm a few numbers - looks a bit light on attendees at the moment.

Come on folks, get your name down! :smt023

I'm still up for it weather permitting. Don't mind a bit of rain but not if it's p---ing down.

Should be there around 11.30.

Yup, still up for it, but only if it's not coming at us horizontally :smt012

The weather doesn't look bad, but not great either - and knowing BBC, it'll be completely different to what they're predicting.

If anyone is interested, but not likely to make a decision till the last minute, drop me a PM and I'll send you my mobile number, then let me know on Sunday and we promise not to leave without you :smt003

At the moment, I'm saving my pass-out for BikeFest the following Saturday .... but despite the initial enthusiasm a few months ago for a lot of us to meet up there, there seems to be few saying they're actually going! (I'm hoping that they're just keeping quiet rather than not going).

Seems the weather people have changed their minds again, about tomorrow.
They say sunny intervals now, so it will probably hiss it down.
Hope to set off about 08.45, from home, should get me to DK for 10.00, see you there.

I was thinking of coming from DK along the A525 towards Llangollen. is there a good meeting spot on that road.
But Firestarter know the way, so he may have a different route planned.
If you PM me your mobile number I will ring and let you know as we set off from DK.

Umm, when you say that I know the way, I've been twice! Was planning on printing a map off tomorrow morning...

Llangollen sounds like a plan, then ride up. I'll bring me map :smt002
