Renegade High Level cans/pipes for sale or swap :(

#1 Post by falcomunky » Mon Feb 25, 2013 1:36 pm

Hi all.

Just wondering if there is anyone on here who would like my set of Rene High Level cans that I recently purchased from Anzacinexile... (see them here: https://www.ridersite.com/viewtopic.php?t=10498).
They sound AWESOME (whether baffled or not) and look great on the Falco with really good build quality.

Ideally, I'm after a swap for a set of low-level cans, oval preferably.

The reason being I have had my shifts changed at work (for the foreseeable future) and will now be doing 6am starts as well as lates.
Unfortunately the Rene's aren't easy enough to swap out for the OE dustbins every other night (my shifts will alternate!) and my neighbours may well burn my shed down if I fire her up at 5.15am wearing the Rene's! lol
:smt003

BTW, they suffered a couple of minor creases in transit from Anzacinexile, (City Links fault, not his) but they are on the inside of the back left can and cant be seen when mounted.

So I'm open to offers, whether money or a swap.
PM me if interested.

Cheers! :smt006

Wasn't it Anzacinexile you bought them from?

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

If you don't sell the renes inside of a month, I may well be interested in them. Consider me a last option. I already have two Rene equipped bikes but the two cans and bits of pipework and brackets would do for spares..

Renegades are not common

Fit the standard cans apart from when you have a few days off

I sometimes think that people who do not know Ridersite, and especially the admin team would be quite shocked at some of the things said

It's a bloody good thing that we are all private citizens - some of these things would not be the done thing for a government chap to say

Especially not one of her maj's finest and shortest....
