Scunthorpe Police

#1 Post by nicketynoo » Thu Feb 21, 2013 7:41 pm

Just like to say thanks to Good ole Sunny Scunny cops who are running a campaign to register bike details with them ( immobilise database) ,so that if your bike is stolen and recovered they can find out who it belongs to pretty quickly.
This is after quite a few bikes have been found on a tasty estate in Scunthorpe :smt027 :smt027 :smt067 :smt074
The deal is ,produce your v5 and give your details and they give you an alarmed disc lock , free gratis :smt001
So I tootled off to the local community centre and bagged myself 3 of them!Plus a UV marker pen. :smt003 Result
looks like they've already given around 200 out so must have cost them a fair wad!

However I wont be passing on any praise to the traffic warden who gave me a parking ticket in Leeds last night :smt013
Although I suppose I was to blame, turning up to the footie match late and parking in a permit holders only patch! :smt017
I don't care if you lick windows,
Take the special bus
Or occasionally pee on yourself.
You hang in there sunshine, you're special!

Ah the delights of parking near mecca

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Hope you managed to scrape the shite off your boots when you got back to civilisation - clearly the traffic warden was trying to do you a favour
