PA Motorcycles

#1 Post by Dalemac » Thu Feb 14, 2013 2:07 pm

Just wanted to warn people about PA motorcycles. I bought my last battery from them. To cut a long story short, they sent me a Dynavolt battery despite ordering a Motobatt, but left Motobatt on the invoice. The battery failed, I have no proof of purchase of the Dynavolt because Motobatt is on the invoice. The seller refuses to answer my emails, closes my return requests on amazon and his telephone number is a dud (constantly 'engaged') and his website has no information on it. Despite this, he continues to trade on Amazon.

Despite buying through Amazon there isn't much they seem to be doing much to get the issue resolved, despite the situation being are with their guarantee department, and seller feedback department.

Bottom line is I have been forced to buy another battery despite the original item still being under warranty. He has completely done me over.

I am also reporting him to trading standards.

The seller's Amazon profile is http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aag/details/ ... _legalInfo
Website is http://www.pa-motorcycles.co.uk/
Phone Number: 01283 585870
VAT Number: GB924548411

This person is also trading on eBay under the name of 'into bikes' - http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/into-bikes/

What a complete **nt !
No doubt you only realised it was not what you ordered as you opened the box when the courer had dis appeared.
Thats one trader to avoid then !
Sure others on here will know a lot more with regard to making this more public
Cleverly disguised as an adult !

Easy to make it very public on facebook - any objection to my doing so? I have a lot of biker friends, wouldn't like to see them fall into the same trap. I would of course be fairly careful about the wording.......
The tragedy of old age is not that one is old, but that one is young.

Not quite, As far as I know the original motobatt battery was dispatched, but the courier damaged it. He then ran out of stock of the motobatt so sent me a dynavolt instead. I wasn't too fussed at the time, the bike had been off the road for over a month and I was just relieved to have a battery.

In hindsight, I probably should have refused. But I missed the bike!
