Sunday rideout

#1 Post by Gio » Fri Apr 20, 2007 12:31 pm

Well seeing as the previous one died a death, how about one on Sunday 29th April, same route as mentioned in the previous post.

I'll obviously stick up the route so that people can join up as and when they feel like it. But if anyone wants to start at our house then they'll get either tea or coffee and a bacon butty to start.

Long range weather forecast looks good, but if its peeing down I'll cancel it.

So I take it you're up for it.

It'd be good if Dale could manage it, total trip that I'm looking at is about 220-250 miles. preferably start early (say 9am), home for 6 or 7pm if you do the whole trip. :smt001

Sorry chaps,

I've got somewhere between no chance and F*ck all.

Wife and Kids need some TLC at the weekends 'coz I'm off to Monza on the 8th of May on the Falco. :smt003

But Gio we are still doing this right?

Can I open it to some other riders I work with?... they are all sensible 'mature' riders. (Unlike me :smt003 ) 2 GSs in case you are nostalgic :smt002

If so - send me a basic outline of the route and Ill mail it onto them.

Yup no probs with that. 2 GS's eh, don't suppose they belong to Wey Valley do they?

I'll sort the route out tonight and post it up.

Uh... no idea. They're engineers at my place of work. 1 rides his GS through rain, sleet snow etc etc Middle of winter the only bike in the shed at work is his :smt003

That'll do his paintwork a lot of good (If he doesn't clean it properly and often) :smt005 If its a 1200GS, the front stantions are known to peel.

So far a few of the guys are keen for the Brighton leg.. not the whole trip... but there will be more responding tomorrow im sure.
