about 450
been reading through http://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/vehicle/aprilia_sl_1000
so it would appear that there are around 395 falco's registered in the UK
what is rather scary is that mine - an x reg, was one of the first 11 registered (Definitely a 2000 first registration with a 1999 manufacturers mark.....)
and it would, if my maths is correct, indicate that 484 have been registered in total in the UK (Last new bike registered was 2011... and i do know where there is one unregistered brand new falco)
so - the other 89 bikes - some have been exported to oz and europe, the rest.... scrapped we assume
just interesting to see how many are left

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
To be fair, it is quite a rare bike and i like it that way... Everybody had had my last bike.
Mine is currently helping to push up te sorn numbers. Tax ran out in december i think and though it stupid to tax the now.

Remember I just killed one that will be revived but can't be registered :(
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

I have four. one that geoff killed. Which eventually will be re-framed.
Kerrys old blue one which has cost a bit to get the motor running again. Plus having to remove the alarm system.
The others you know about. Here's kerrys old bike, just fitted the mille swingarm myself.
Scottoilers don't half attract a lot of dirt, I have spent ages cleaning around the swingarm/frame mounts prior to fitting the new swinger!

Another question,old thread.
Do you use the falco rear header or mille header for the 2 into 1 modification?
And don't worry folks that exsaust the size of the bike is not staying on.
I have something nice to be fitted.
Paddy you think your wife puts up with a lot!!!

yep - BUT - double check the frame stamp and the sticker under the rider saddle - it will show the month and year of fabrication
my frame is number 171 btw - and at the first shropshire meet, number 172 - another black one, turned up
