*&^%$!!!! weather forecasts

#1 Post by lazarus » Sun Dec 23, 2012 4:35 pm

Should know better given my age but set off for Cardiff some 40 miles away leaving my rain suit behind because the forecasts said "no rain". And what happened? It rained. And my old riding gear is no longer water tight.

There is nothing worse than a wet gusset. Causes rapid disappearance of Xmas spirit.

Whatever possessed you !!! ????

Irrespective of weather forecasts, YOU WERE GOING TO WALES - WHAT DID YOU EXPECT ? !

What he said!

I never trust a weather forecast unless it says it IS going to rain!
The tragedy of old age is not that one is old, but that one is young.

I always have water proofs in my tank bag.....

You know it makes sense

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
