adjustable footpegs?

#1 Post by danthewhippet » Sun Dec 16, 2012 12:40 pm

Hi all, seasons greetings and all that. Happy to report my falco is running fine although it is spending most of its time in its blanket, sooking on the optimate drip. My problem is more physical and think an alteration of riding position might help, i've read posts on here regarding moving the clip ons above the top yoke and i might go that way but a mate told me about MFW adjustable pegs. I had a peek online and there are kits available for the falco so i'm wondering if anyone has used them and any issues. :smt017
OOPS....There goes another pillion!!

I've had the MFW Variopegs on the Futura for 2 years. Got the (IIRC) 28 mm. extension/arm things. Just enough to make a noticeable improvement in comfort (arthritis here and there). Mine have the slightly longer touring pegs, with the rubber inserts. Strongly recommended.

Gilles brought out a very similar product last year - the first versions were on display at last year's bike show at the NEC; looked very like MFW; no prices available then.

You could also follow Keith (Oldgit)'s example, & fit Buell pegs - they end up about 25 mm. lower, IIRC
