The 2012 Racing Season Is Over

#1 Post by D-Rider » Sun Nov 11, 2012 9:02 pm

The 2012 Racing Season Is Over .... and the forum's Fantasy Racing League results are in.

I thought I'd just post them up here for all to see - and maybe to bring the game to the attention of those that may have missed it and might like to join in the fun next season.
The fun will start soon - as we get wind of how development is going in the closed season - getting thoughts as to who we might like in our teams.

Anyway back to this season ..... and for the second season in a row I have to congratulate my son on his victory.
Please - someone beat him next year!

A) No, I don't have the power to delete you
B) What would be the point? ..... the season has finished

Think you are wrong about Pedrosa. Lorenzo is a better rider but as has been shown recently, when the Honda is the better bike, Pedrosa can beat him with reasonable consistency.

Well I don't know, but looking at pedrosa's antics when if he'd used his brain he might have won he's thrown it away by being to agressive, this in my opinion is why lorenzo is head and shoulders above pedrosa, I think he'd better watch out as well with marquez in the same team, maybe he'll do a stoner on pedrosa LOL.

BTW its 7 seasons pedrosa's been there, never ridden another manufacturers bike, so he needs to prove himself by going elswhere.

.... as beautifully demonstrated yesterday then?

Impetuous overtake attempt on a back marker while well in the lead leaving, now who was it? to win the race by more than 37 seconds ......

..... and yes, of the two of them I'll want Lorenzo to win every time but there is no denying that Pedrosa is a brilliant rider too - and one that seems to have found a way to start improving again.

Admittedly not a good move, but did you see pedrosa when he was in 18th place, went past 3 bikes hitting 2 of them, shades of 2006 and his taking out of hayden on 2 or 3 occasions. There were another couple of occasions that he took dumb risks and knowing him if he'd fallen it'd have been someone elses fault.

I think you were watching the Moto2 race and are confusing Marquez with Pedrosa. Now that is one rider that is either going to cause a very serious accident or be part of one, unless he changes his ways.

I don't get the hate for Pedrosa. He's not big-headed, he's not an asshole, he's blindingly quick and this year has added enviable consistency to his skill set. He's also come out of his shell and can be pretty jolly at times. He's also won 7 out of the last 8 races, which is pretty amazing. It's funny how a few years ago people were dissing him for being too easily cowed by overtaking manoeuvres, now he's sorted that out he's too agressive.

No satisfying some people...
