Rare Silencers

#1 Post by DavShill » Tue Nov 06, 2012 3:44 pm

I've sent one of my Blueflame silencers back to the factory for some remedial work (just realised they've been on for nearly 7 years). Anyway I found some satin black factory originals in the cupboard, so I've fitted them so the bike stays on the road.

I can't believe how bloody heavy they are - makes the bike look very dull too.

But I think they are very rare now so send me your very generous bids and I'll consider selling them to you when my lovely twin port returns. :smt002

I suggest folk get a postage quote......

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

That's what's on mine as standard too.... I assume they were only fitted during certain years?

The black cans were 03 onwards.

Now come on Pete, get your bid in for this ultimate performance upgrade .......... you're always telling us how black things make yours faster .......

Well .... either someone's changed them or it's a pre '03 colour scheme (Olympic Bronze/Black, Flamingo Red/Black, Oasis Green/Black were the '03 onwards colours - all with black cans)

Bollox - they're black - and some mouthy chap on here swears blind that being black makes them the fastest and bestest things out there.

Yes, I hear they will not be fitting Mitts for the winter months (or the next few years come to that)
