I was looking at the falco today,hopind I'd see that broken wire,that shit connector thats stopping it running,knowing Ive spent all I can on it this month,knowing it now needs to see Griff.
At the same time Im cursing my mate as he has'nt re paid all the money he borrowed off me,also knowing he can't repay me as he dont got the money.
The car insurance runs out on monday, I wont re new it as its going back to Cardiff, to my mate that lent it to me ( thanks Jade xxxx )
From tuesday, its back to the pushbike,
I was earning more in 97 than I am in 2012....... :smt017 :smt017 :smt017
Think the falco may have to be for sale now

Mmm its a glitch dude, a bit of a shit time in your life and believe me we ALL get them.
Stick with it dude i am sure it will be something simple with the falco and you will be back on the bike soon :smt112

Im not sure exactly how far Griff is, estimate less than 100.
Looked at bike again today,so sad too see the condensation all over her,she lives under a cover,deserves better !
The whole Ebay blagger nonsense 'should' be sorted in around 6 wks,which is 05/11
If its going to take a long time then the bike should probably have a new home,avoid further deterioration, spotless when bought,few furry bolts now,replacing most with stainless.
If the legal shit is done soon, I will build a suitable kennel, if not vultures prepare

Falcos survive pretty well - the finish on them is way better than most bikes. Yes, some of the bolt heads don't seem to be in the same league - they do go a bit crappy - especially the ones on the callipers - but I wouldn't be too worried about not keeping it garaged (better if you can but not so bad if you can't)

As you may have gathered I am a clueless GIT about mechanical shit but after a brief period living in an asbestos hut I did find that a bit of old carpet is a brilliant insulation material and certainly helps stop rising damp :)

If the bike is under a cover, it helps if you put a newspaper on the seat, it absorbs moisture - but does need to be changed regularly.

Pepper and lots of it, washes of easy but irritates the hell out of cats (spray wd 40 on first for a sticky option)
I used to do that on my CB when it was outside under a cover.

there was a guy who years ago came up with these battery powered water guns that looked pretty realistic too. He was ex secret service I think... anyway they fired small water bullets (really short squirts or tims for a better description :smt003 ) boy did they sting and really accurate up to about 30m on a clear windless day now that made the little sods move ... allegedly :smt001

We fitted two if them into a sidecar and used them to annoy people sorry did I say we I meant someone I know ;)
