Renegade Hi Level Exhausts

#1 Post by anzacinexile » Sun Oct 28, 2012 4:02 pm

For sale - pair of Renegade stainless round hi-level exhausts including the link pipes and the db killers.

Been on the bike for 20K miles and are in pretty good nick and IMO, don't need repacking. With the killers in, VERY fruity but not enough to annoy the neighbours (well, mine at least) but with the killers out, all bets are off.

Asking £200 + postage if you're interested.

They're MINE now! Muhahahahahahahahaa! (Or at least they will be if the bloody courier ever gets here!) :smt003
BTW, any suggestions as to which chip to get fer these? I'm assuming a Renegade Chip, but where to get one from???

well, good luck trying to source a genuine renegade chip.....

I know the hobbit found one recently, but it was the cut down version....

I lucked onto my +10 chip a while ago....

there is a very good review of assorted chips that has been done recently by old white boots - a good read methinks

also, what else have you done to the bike?

I think, hand on heart, I would do all my mods, then I would comission a gabro.....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

I've got one but never used it yet. Have a plan to but I guess with a bit of persuasion I could change from "operation Renegade" to "operation Gabro" ..... hoping to avoid "operation on the NHS" along the way of course.

From what I remember it's a Renegade +2

lol :smt005
Very interested DR!
I use an old race chip I got from Ebay many moons ago (I forget which one: I'd have to check) as well as a usb PC3 which needs re-setting up as I had it done four or five years back when I got the Simmi ovals and the chip.
The Rene's havn't turned up yet, but my plan is to see whether the Simmi's might look better as they are oval (as well as fairly stubby: I had em made special) and should hug the bike a little closer? Will see when I get the new set...
BTW, I'll be selling either the Simmi end-cans or the Renegade end-cans, depending on which way I decide, along with the Beowulf link pipes if anyone is interested... :smt006

Well if you do go on the NHS I know a very good dr Rossi who could be made available for a price the Gabro having been promised elsewhere

:smt002
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Any one else think he is getting excited?

And wait till you hear and run them - NOTHING sounds like a set of renegades on full chat.....

No shit sherlock, and don't follow too close to a bike with the hi levels ie slow moving traffic.
I followed pete up the m6 for marches meet and the cans were spitting and popping.....in my face, i obviously was too close.
They did sound well though, fookin loud but nice :smt020

Too right Nursie.

As for chippage.. i'd keep a beady eye out for a +2 renegade chip on all forums.. such as AF1, Here, MCN... but the reality of it is unless you can find Grinch, i doubt very much youll ever get one. Better to pay wonga to Gabro and ask for a couple of map options to play with

I was hoping that one (as in the chip..) might get raped and have twins... or quadruplets

*stares with suggestion*

:smt002

I have a feeling that a Rene C is the same as a +2

..which is what I have..
