Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

I wouldn't trust the miles on it. I have never heard of clocks resetting to zero....It would have to be backed up by previous MOT's. My guess is it has had more damage than specified and they are new clocks.

Hi all,

My local aprilia dealer had a few bikes where he took the batteries off and after a few months the clocks "Zeroed!" One of those guys that "Clock" cars, vans, bikes etc had too actually put miles ON instead of taking them off :smt016

Could be plausible, but, like paddy said, my red light would of came on...
My warranty is the clear/smoked tail lights around the corner!!

Really :smt017

A low battery start can occasionally destroy a sprag - though not that often or we'd all have had the problem.

A low battery start can cause a dash reset but it certainly doesn't reset the odometer.

I had the battery off my Falco for almost two years and it did not reset the odometer
