So few bikes to Czech out ......

#1 Post by D-Rider » Fri Apr 13, 2007 10:26 pm

Just got back today from a few days in Prague (the Mrs took me for my birthday ..... which was actually last October ......).

Fantastic city ..... but where were the bikes? In the 3 days we were there I saw just a handful. The only Aprilia I saw was an SR50 scooter.

Saw a blade an R1 a space tractor (see, I've not forgotten Gio) and a few others. The most common bike-like things were cruisers - Harleys and clones. Even if you were to reclassify them to include them as motorbikes :smt009 the numbers were woefully low.

Maybe they were all away at Brno on some megga week-long track-fest :smt003

It is just a beginning of season in central Europe. Besides, there are not many bikes at all (weather, winter, price/income relation).

Aprilias are nearly non-existent, cruisers and choppers are the majority.

I know that there was 1 (one) Tuono in Warsaw, and 0 (zero) Falcos in 2005. And that is the capital city of Poland. Now you get a picture.

Surely the Falco is from your post-space-tractor era Gio? :smt009

I've never had a space tractor, I seriously doubt I could use that sort of performance.
