Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Not that the LED ones will be of course - they draw much less power for the same brightness.

You can get them from lot's of places, even sell them at Halfords, (but not the cheapest or best).
The main thing to go for is getting bulbs with the most LEDs.
You also need to make sure that you get bulbs with some side facing LEDs as well as rear facing, or you will not light up the reflectors.
Without these you just get a bright red LED group the size of the bulb.
With a few side facing this lets the reflector light up the whole light unit with a bright central LED core.
I tried a few, as you will probably gather, before arriving at this conclusion!
Mine were sourced from Hong Kong via eBay, were the cheapest and came very quickly, but got them some time ago, so not sure who from.

These are the two types -

1) Side and rear facing, the best.

2) Rear facing only - not as good.

General search -

Go to vehicle parts and accessories/ Red LED tail light bulb

Was near my local Halfords this PM, so called in to check and they don't seem to sell them any more!
The others were better!
