Trickle chargers

#1 Post by fatboy » Sun Sep 09, 2012 7:12 pm

Im looking at buying a 12v 2.4w solar trickle charger,(solar because Im not on national grid so generator or solar)
Most solar panel chargers have an in built regulator so Im hoping this would do the job ?? Not sure how to work out the amp out put.
Missed my chance to get Falco OTR this weekend due to shagged battery syndrome, brand new battery only started bike 3 or for times but someone left it pancaked for a few months ( not me ) :smt013 :smt009
Cleverly disguised as an adult !

Not to sure about the solar power question, but if you can't put the bike on an optimate i would be tempted to diconnect the battery...
Alarm systems drain battery power.
FFS don't try and start the bike with a not so good battery has you are probably be aware you will shag the sprag clutch, hence you will never get the bike on the road :smt012
Tolerance will be our undoing.
