Brembo rear brake seals

#1 Post by wayno » Tue Sep 04, 2012 8:49 am

I have been looking through the forum and so far have found the front caliper seal parts for the KTM, Can anyone point me in the direction of a part number for the rear caliper seal and pistons? My calipers are in need of a good clean up and while I have them split I'm going to completely recondition them.

I just found the bit in technical which has the roadrunner ebay link for the rear seals, are these official brembo seals or pattern? I've had some nightmares in the past with pattern seals and would like to avoid them like the plague if possible.

I can't answer your question sorry Wayne but Andy must be creaming himself over the way you are obviously using the search function :smt003
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

I've just dropped Brembo an email direct to see if they will allow me to buy a reasonable quantity directly from them (accepting all liability of course so that they can be scaredycats down in Italy).

I doubt very much I will hear anything from them but you never know.
