Quick release seat and tank pins
I am making another batch of these.
Anyone wants some give me a shout and I will make them, price is £11 per set including delivery. Payment will prefferably be made via direct bank payment as paypal fees are just ridiculous, I can accept paypal but would rather not if I can help it.
I may have a look at making some lanyards to suit these, if anyone is interested give me a shout so I can get some rough numbers.
As always if anyone needs any small machined parts making (turned parts preferrably as my mill is a bit pony) I can make these to a drawing, again just give me a shout.

small lengths of picture wire work well - small loop at each end :)
I think that quick release pins are a great idea - i have them fitted to all the household falcos.....
I would also suggest that you advertise them in the shire - i know a hobbit who may benefit from having quick access to his battery that he keeps forgetting to charge....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
That's all it takes, I put a paperclip in the end mine before. A mate of mine has a tab of insulation tape on his.
I can't understant the theory behind having a screw down seat, all the other manufacturers have gone for the tried and tested latch mechanism.
I'm obviously out of touch with forum humour as I don't get the shire part (obviously aimed at some vertically challenged, hairy toed member)

For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

So that's one each for Mart and Squid, unfortunately they aren't the olde fashioned pins but I'll let you know if I see any :)flatlander wrote:hey up skipper if these arent for easy trouser access to incontinence pants ...in which case Mart may be your best customer ... alegedly![]()

I was going to make some myself but if youre doing a set at 11 quid then I shall be definately in line for some of those.. Alad was indeed correct that I would benefit from some.
1 set for my RSV please.
if you take decent lengths of the swarf and spray glue on one side, I know that these (marketed as go faster stripes) would benefit my stealth falco riding friend...
alad: Touche mo'fo..

I'll make an 18" diameter one, he may like feeling something touch the sides, remind him of his pre-village people days :)randomsquid wrote:I'll take a Falco set please.
Could you take an 18" length of bar, turn it down to a very sharp point and stick it up flatlander's bottom please? Ta.

And you might like to speculate upon where I'm thinking of "fitting" it when next we meet......D-Rider wrote:wayno wrote:I'll make an 18" diameter one, he may like feeling something touch the sides, remind him of his pre-village people days :)randomsquid wrote:I'll take a Falco set please.

Can Flatlander, Kwackerz and randomsquid drop me an e-mail on wayne.french15@yahoo.co.uk so I can send you my bank details and get your addresses, I have tried PMing you but all the messages are going to my outbox and not my sent items (not sure what's wrong)
These are now ready, I went made in the workshop last night and made several sets
