Who made an offer he couldn't refuse to the man on ebay selling his falco luggage system???
I asked him if he'd consider selling it privately and he refused, then when I'd bid and was high bidder he removed is saying someone had made him an offer he couldn't refuse.
Now I'm back to plan A of making a bespoke mounting system to take my oxford panniers

Pass me a hammer, a spanner and a cuppa

Damn annoying, I was more than willing to bid to the end after he said that to me, then suddenly I get a bid cancellation notice.
No worries though, I just picked up the ones from the classified ads :)

if you over bid past the reserve it shows you the price which if you are quick you can then cancel the bid and know what the reserver is .... allegedly

cant do it too often though or so they say

I thought he just cancelled the auction and sold them privately? I was the highest bidder at the time and there was no reserve
