Brembo caliper bolts (not mounting, but caliper joining)
Does anyone know where to source the bolts that hold the 2 halves of the calipers together? Mine look like they have been stored in salt, presumably due to wheel cleaner.
I read the thread in technical about service kits and have some seals on order (just in case), but I want to replace the bolts while I have them split. I don't really want to use normal stainless cap heads, partly because I like the gold coating and partly because I don't like how far the heads stick out.
I need a set for the rear too. And if anyone can give me the rear caliper seal numbers that would be great too.

If you want the gold/yellow coating, the finish is called 'passivated'. You want high tensile steel, at least 8.8. I bought some when I renovated a set of calipers a couple of years ago, but can't remember where I got them from.wayno wrote:Does anyone know where to source the bolts that hold the 2 halves of the calipers together? Personally I quite like the look of stainless, but if you're going for that, get the version of stainless that is equivalent to 8.8 - I think its A4-80 (not totally sure about that).
