#1 Post by PH1969 » Sat Jul 14, 2012 4:59 pm

Is there a specific place or section for How To undertake alterations to the Falco?
Specifically I want to check it's not restricted still and fit a new EPROM.
Thanks again.

This i a start
https://www.ridersite.com/viewtopic.ph ... ght=virgin
If you look at the top of the screen there is a search function, click on the function and type in key words.
To find what you was looking for i typed in virgin has the bike has not had its cherry popped. :smt112

.... and for what we don't have in the technical section, search Ken's Site and CPlus' site.

and if you are going to play with an eprom

get an "anti static strap"

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Nah - just for one eprom no need to go out buying new bits of kit like that, make sure you've grounded yourself to dissipate any residual charge and then be careful not to touch the pins.

.... and don't pop it in back to front.

This whole section of the site has a wealth of information, the search function is useful, but a quick ask will get you plenty of info, there's not much that hasn't been done by one or other of us.

Just be careful of the implications on your bank managers blood pressure
