Is it considered vain to shave your ear hair?

No, just harvest it with nail scissors every few months, along with your nasal hair. Besides, it gets in the way when inserting ear plugs, unless you let it get too bushy and then you don't need them.
(hello Sam, ............. er I said hello Sam. :smt017 ).
Try not to cut a chunk off your ear at the same time, as it won't stop bleeding for ages.
Vain, no just a pain in the arse, then again that's another problem area ...................................................................................................................

Surely the answer would be to go for a "Brazilian" solution and wax your ears ..... you might even find a conveniently located supply of wax ......

What are the alternatives ?
Let them become dreadlocks ?
Complete with beads and bear can ringpulls for the full on grunge look?

A bit of quiet masculine preening makes a lot more sense !
OOPS beer can ring pulls, bear can is just too masculine

I'm too cheap to go to the barbers. :smt009
Nail scissors sounds like a plan.
Trying to wedge the clippers in there didn't work.

Maybe ear hair comb-overs?

No not up there, just the surrounding area.
Did you ever see the Billy Connolly sketch about body hair.
As you get older, you loose it on your head where you would really like to keep it, then you get extra hair in your nose, ears, on your back and lots of other places where you don't feckin need it.

You guys need to get a wee nose/ear hair trimmer that runs on an AA battery. Wonderful little gizmo that I use before my wife runs the clippers over my head. If I don't, she takes great delight in trying to trim my ears by forcing the clippers into them and that's rather painful. Thankfully, she hasn't forced it up my nose...yet.

Used to be painfull but I guess now that the nerves have almost died.
I pluck them, takes about 10 mins and you only have to redo every 8 or 9 months then.

Tried pulling them out. Turned into an exercise in squinting sideways into a mirror while poking myself in the head. Little clippers sound like a good thing, will investigate.

If you did manage to pull them out, perhaps you could plant them on your head; they might take root and grow there.
