oil light.....

#1 Post by Dalemac » Thu Jul 05, 2012 7:08 pm

Evening everyone.

Just been on a 60 mile or so ride. As soon as I turned the bike offthe oil light came on, which is a first. Started back up and it went off. Repeat and it continues to happen. Changed the can chain tensioners last week which increased the oil level in tank. IS it safe to assume something is now wrong?

Any ideas?

Dale

Check the sensor...:

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

I think you may have answered your own question :)
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Yeah, must have got a bit of water in during yesterday's epic rain ride. Seems fine today.
