Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
It's like everything really. If there's a way for the bad guys to exploit it, then they will.
The main problems are all the people who do not check what permissions the application is asking for, and download dodgy versions of popular things.
Seriously, would you really download the latest "Angry Birds" from an application store in Russia instead of the official Google store?
(And yes, I do know that Google has been lax in vetting some of the applications that were in the store.)

It's the V-twin thing. There's just something about it that inline-4s don't have at all, and V-4s don't have enough of.
