Ahem. I'm not the oldest on here, by any means, Baldy Bonce
Bike was a '57 Triumph Thunderbird 6T, with a Watsonian DA sidecar. Passed the test at Heckmondwike test centre, in 1974 (July or August, can't remember now)
It flies sideways through time
It's an electric line

Did my bike test late in life - 1996 - in Poole, Dorset on a 100cc 2-stroke - after which I was allowed to ride anything I wanted to!
Car tast was rather longer ago (1964) in Evesham, Worcestershire in a Simca 1100 - wonder how many on here have ever heard of Simca?
The tragedy of old age is not that one is old, but that one is young.

This is all down to my older brother being a bit of Mod honest.
Lambreta TV175 , front disc brake and 'ported'. Oh and in summer 1971.... (A bit of an issue for a wanabe Hippy/Rocker....Local skin heads didn't know what to make of it, at least they seemed very curious)
Don't put off 'till tomorrow what you can enjoy today

Garage used to be next to my nan's on Thorpe road.

Simca replaced by Talbot, owned by Chrysler...

Bike in 2001 on a trusty CB125 after I'd ridden the CG125 into the ground. First bike after the test was a CB250N "SUPERDREAM!". Kept blowing it up.. It was a bit like Triggers Broom in the end..lol.
Car in 2008 after spawning. First car was a Reliant Robin Mk2 LX a few years before (trusty B1 license), but first 'proper' car after the test was a Honda Accord 2.0i SE.

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Honda Prelude Pennsylvania 91 UK 99 dont recall the car
CX 500 with watsonian sidecar dont recall the year
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

1973 (March): Bike Test Passed - Honda C50 step-through (not a moped as it didn't have pedals ..... had to wait an extra year to ride it because of that)
Can't remember for car test - no earlier than 1975, no later than 1977 - my dad's Volvo 145 estate
