It's a good number of years since I fitted mine. However, I didn't need to remove any of the plastics.
It was a bit tricky getting the R-clips in at first until I had it all adjusted correctly - and it took a while to work out the best way to do that.
Removing them is easy - just pull on the tethering straps that hold the R-clips to stop you loosing them.
I know some of the first sets that AF1 and RSVR.net sold didn't have the tethering things - they must have been quite a PITA.

Now it's great - so much easier than those bolts that were there originally.

I don't have the tethering bits on mine, I just take the pins out, take the seat off and put the pins back in again so I know where they are.

I just saw it.

I feel a bit bad now, although I was only replying to a request so too late now.

I have a load more half made, but the drill was so bad that I decided to leave them till I got my new mini mill, oh yeah by the way I'm getting a new little mill next week :smt003 I don't know whether to finish them now or not.

I wouldn't worry about the otherside, i was waiting for a set from redtrackbike for 2 months so gave up! They're all in love with each other and there RSV's anyway...don't know why i bother looking TBH...oh yeah circling for OZ's that's why i go there :smt002
