Yes to the bulbs - cheaP set from halfords or where ever - I paid 5 quid for a nice box of bulbs that look right - they aren't but...
Iirc you also need a first aid kit - there is no specification as to what's in it.... A trip to boots to get a cheap and nasty kit for a fiver that fits in the cowl
Stupid question time here.. how do you tape the light so it is euro legal? Or is it just a case of sticking some black tape on the left hand side of the headlight so it 'looks' right to a member of the Politzei..

No idea! Went to France last year and did prior research, but didn't come across this requirement.
We got pulled for a random breath test one afternoon, but were sent on our way when it proved negative. The cops weren't bothered about spare bulbs, high viz vests etc.

Whilst I'm on, can you guys recommend a good spares source? I'm specifically looking for spare brake and clucth levers to take with me.

or chinese pazzo copies for 40 quid off evilbay

(Do a test fit first on the clutch side - you will likely have to dremel a bit!)

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

..... and moreso on the brake side!
There have been several instances of some of these copies sticking on. Bad enough when the bike is stopped and you can't move it ..... worse when you are moving fast and they stick on ..... i

Thanks for the advice.

4000 km in 8 days. No spills, no mechanical problems, espresso and Ibuprofen.

Looks fantastic. Was the Dolomite the back up vehicle?

Your tee shirt says Strasbourg to Bath in a day - that's going some.

I was in Baden Baden on the Falco 13th/14th and had the best weather of a 9 day trip.

Rather wet the rest of the time.

It ended up being Metz to Leeds. I'm not saying how fast.
