If you can go to the Ohlins, without doubt do it.
I had a falco with the original blue spring shock, swapped out for a serviced white spring RSV shock which was better but now have an RSV Mille R with Ohlins and the difference is night and day. 1 click of adjustment can actually be felt, the ride and feedback is superb and provides far more confidence than the other options. I do tend to ride quite hard and on track I admit but well worth the investment.
Hope it helps

I stand corrected, one of our forum members pmed me with the details of the ohlins, I paid 150 quid with linkages for mine in a lot better condition.
I think that one on ebay is worth a lot less than he is asking, but then there is some on there for a lot more money but still to dear in my eyes even though they are in a lot better condition

I have posted before that the origional spring is like having a piece of solid bar in place has there is no give in it what so ever. Your new spring will improve your bike ten fold. Has in regards to her in doors blowing her top, i would get used to it
. I have done car racing in the past and i have always got by with what i have had and improvised to improve things but this was still an expensive past time. To me falco ownership is proving rewarding and expensive too. I know what i want to do to one of the"two"falco's i have which starts with a dyno run in standard form on the 19th of this month at powerhouse in sheffield
Then the fun begins with financial outlay, in fact its already begun
But also i am having a full set of panels painted in a colour scheme that i think will look out standing
I will be fitting an oberon clutch slave cylinder and a new clutch jet
and a list of other mods which will come in time.
I really hope you have an endless pot of money and some good hearing protection rob because your bollockings will be coming freaquent
On a final note the forum is full of knoledge and sound advice if you want to mod your falco and will tell you how much this will come at!
But will also help you part with your hard earned to acheive the results the desired affect
